FORTRESS GROUP OFFICES
Located in Midtown Manhattan, the 100,000sf offices of this financial services company inhabit the top three floors of a skyscraper overlooking Central Park. The priority was to maximize views and natural light from the interiors of the deep floor plates. Floor-to-ceiling glass partitions around the perimeter allow sight lines to extend deep into the central open office layout. The massive trading floor runs the full length of the Central Park side of the building, creating a 200-foot long dramatic connection between the exchange and the park. An open-riser staircase ties into the exposed concrete structure of the building, physically and visually connecting the reception area on the lower floor with the upper level conference rooms, gymnasium, and offices.
