WOODMERE ART MUSEUM
We are delighted to be working on a new project with Woodmere Art Museum. Thanks to a generous gift from the Maguire Foundation, the former 17,000 square foot St. Michael's Hall – purchased by Woodmere from the Sisters of St. Joseph in October of 2021 – will be renamed the Frances M. Maguire Hall for Art & Education, allowing the historic Chestnut Hill estate to undergo a transformative renovation. Collaborating with Andropogon Associates, Ltd. and Krieger Architects, our goal is to bring back and enhance the historic house and provide Woodmere with the galleries it needs. The new café will be an exciting visitor experience, and we will bring in more natural light, integrate interior and exterior spaces, and take advantage of the spectacular beauty of the four-acre site.
